SIR: I became aware of the (crow) situation in Chatham via the show Country Canada. I have to say that I am, as are many others, appalled and saddened by the town's decision to destroy thousands of crows because they are a nuisance and inconvenience.
I wonder how we, as environment destroying, clear-cutting humans, are perceived by the rest of nature? If only the animal kingdom decided to do a little 'thinning out' of their own!
I'd never heard of Chatham before this program, what a terrific way to put yourselves on the map!
